Twenty amazing years of traveling the globe and working with thousands of individual leaders and teams taught me a lot about what it takes to be a true leader.

I believe that leadership is about serving others. This requires the individual leader to progress through various stages of development from "it's all about me" to "it's all about being of service to them".
​
This type of development focuses less on behavior change and more on mindset change. Thus, my approach is to help leaders bring conscious awareness to their current mindsets and equip them with strategies to create new, more empowering mindsets.
A Bit About Me
Over 20 years of experience developing leaders and high performing teams worldwide
I began my career as a mechanical engineer responsible for optimizing the efficiency of large industrial energy systems. But after I started leading teams, I became more interested in how to optimize the efficiency of people working together.

Since 2005, I have been Senior Faculty with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) where I have worked with every level of leadership from CEOs to the Front Line. This experience has helped me understand what it takes to develop leaders who actually lead versus ones who simply occupy a position of authority.

Currently, I facilitate CCL's Leadership at the Peak program which is a weeklong intensive leadership development experience for C-Suite and senior level government officials. (More)
Additionally, I am a leadership coach in private practice focusing on helping teams and individual leaders inspire others to enact progressive change.

True Leader Coaching​
In 2020, I left full-time service at CCL to create True Leader Coaching and more fully realize my life's purpose which is to help people in positions of authority improve the quality of life on this planet by becoming better leaders.

​At CCL, I am adjunct faculty for the Leadership at the Peak program which is a weeklong intensive leadership development experience for C-Suite and senior level government and military. leaders.

The People Side
​At TPS, I facilitate a quartly 3-day leadership development program for emerging leaders for one of the world's largest companies focusing on combating climate change. Additionally, I serve as a coach for emerging construction industry leaders in an 18-month leadership program. Finally, I serve as the team coach for a senior team within one of the worlds largest fast-food chains.
Center for Creative Leadership, Coaching Practice Leader
In 2017, I joined CCL's Coaching Practice Leadership Team to lead the design and delivery of Better Conversations Every Day. This one-day program was designed to be accessable to everyone in an organization to help improve the quality of communication across organizational boundaries. This experience taught me the value of effective conversations and how simple shifts in behavior can have a huge impact on people working more effectively together.
